To be part of God's family as a son and receive that incorruptible inheritance in heaven and a full life here on earth is pending only making a decision, placing our total trust in God and the work of Jesus on the Cross.

James, servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes that are in the dispersion: Greetings.
My brothers, consider it great joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
And if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting; for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and tossed. 7 Let no one think that he will receive anything from the Lord. 8 The double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 1:1-8

Faith is the foundation of the Christian life because through it we receive all the benefits of God, salvation, justification, redemption, we can enjoy through faith a personal relationship with God in this life and the security of eternal life. Through faith we also obtain and experience peace with God and the work of the Holy Spirit in us and through us. Despite all this, some moments of our lives seem to falter and this faith that allows us to access all the heavenly riches seems to falter, this usually happens when some of these situations arise
Our faith usually falters when instead of using it we put our human logic first, our reasoning in the circumstance we are going through because sometimes God asks us to take steps that are outside of human logic. If we must know that human logic must lead us to place our trust and faith in God, it is important that we always be rational in deciding to act by faith.

As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:9

We are emotional beings and our emotions and our feelings are fluctuating, when we let these feelings dominate instead of faith, unfortunately we are making the worst decision. Feelings of fear or inadequacy may arise, among many others, and all of this can be an obstacle in what God asks us to do through faith.
All of these doubts generally obscure our vision and we cannot see that God in some way or another is working at all times in our circumstances, but when we are immersed in the feelings that monopolize our mind, it seems that God is not doing anything and nothing is happening.

11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1

There are times when we have feelings of guilt that do not allow us to take the next step, we cannot exercise faith with total freedom when we are divided between what we want to achieve and the guilt of our act. Let us always remember that God has poured faith into our hearts, His Holy Spirit drives us and this faith is to be convinced of what we do not yet see but we hope for it and this is because in some way we contemplate it from God, written in His Word, through the Word of God we have conviction and decision to act in accordance with what God has put in our hearts, from now on you can describe some of these obstacles that often cause our faith to diminish or falter. Will you just stay thinking?
