Faith without works is dead. ( La Fe sin obras está muerta)
The apostle James, said that faith without works is dead. Notice how he uses a broader term than just "good works", it was necessary to clarify why many people think that doing something good is enough for the whole day. The works that you do, affect in good or bad form many others, let us give an example. Imagine that one day, the person in charge of the toilet in the church gets sick, the pastor orders you to clean the church and you think "that lazy, that someone else does" his action (which at the beginning is not good at all) It will affect the whole church, because now the service will be done with the dirty and dusty temple, where is the love that he says he professes to his brothers in Christ? A person with such a thought will easily reject someone who knocks on their door asking for help of any kind.
It makes us shine and puts us to work (Matthew 5:16)
"Let your light so shine before men." Every time he has called and transformed us, he declares us "light of the world". That means that he has entrusted us with the task of enlightening others. To show them the way to God, our light, that is our testimony not spoken (what we do every day, what our friends and neighbor see) is an important part of that light that shines before men.
"That they may see your good works and glorify the father." The reborn son of God who transmits light (in actions and words) is the executor of those good works that glorify the Father. It is important to emphasize, we do not do good deeds to be better or for people to see us as more "saints", Jesus clearly says that our good actions are a cause of glorification to God on the part of unbelieving people. Do not try to steal God's glory, analyze now if what you are doing today, is only to raise your ego or to praise God, if it is the first case, it is time to repent.
We can not stop doing it (Fact 4:20)
Do not stop, you have already witnessed the salvation of God. Your life has been changed, it is something wonderful and you can not let others do it for you, it is your duty, remember that God commands us to be brave and courageous.
Faith without works is a dead faith, because the lack of works reveals a life that has not been changed or a spiritually dead heart. There are many verses that speak of true saving faith resulting in a transformed life and that faith is demonstrated by the works we do. The way we live reveals what we believe and if the faith we say we have is a living faith.

The word tells us that it’s impossible for us to please God without faith. Pleasing God happens when we have faith and apply it with action. Our walk of faith is a lifelong journey, and there's two things that I know about it without a shadow of a doubt. The first is that no one else can run our personal race of faith. The second is that truly walking by faith and not by sight produces present and eternal fruit, all of which pleases God and brings him glory.
Great post! Missing your teachings. There will always be a measurable change in a person if their conversion is authentic. Proof! Like John the Baptist said, fruit meet for repentance.
