Stop Complaining And Look For The Sure Way

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 (kjv)

As a child of God, complaining over any given issue /challenge does not solve it but rather makes it worse.

The opening scripture is vivid to the fact that every child of God is prone to temptation. The fact that you are a child of God does not make you not to face temptation.

Intact, as a child of God you tend to face more temptation than the unbelievers and this is one way by the devil to bring you done but your ability to overcome each temptation that comes your way moves you to the next higher realm in your walk with God.

The Cause (s) Of Temptation To Man

Many atimes l have read and seen people say that God is the one tempting us His children when we are undergoing any challenge (s) but the fact remains that God does not tempt anyone to evil, but rather we are tempted when we are carried away and enticed by our own sinful desires.

13 When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me". For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;
14 But each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.
15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is full grown, gives birth to death.
16 Don't be deceived, my dears brothers and sisters.
17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created. James 1:13-18 (NIV)

If Jesus Was Tempted We Will Also Be Tempted

If Jesus Christ went through it (temptations ), we will also go through it. The sure truth, is that the grace to overcome every temptation has been made available to the children of God. Praise God!

Therefore, instead of complaining and feeling affrighted, look for the way of escape which God has provided in the midst of the temptation so that you will be able to overcome it as Jesus did.

1 Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wildness to be tempted of the devil,
2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hunkered.
3 And when the tempted came to him, he said, if thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4 But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
5 Then the devil take th him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6 And saith unto him, if thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7 Jesus said unto him, it is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9 And saith unto him, All these things will l give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
11 Then the devil leave th him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. Matthew 4:1-11 (kjv)

We have been given the assurance that the temptation is within our scope of abilities to overcome; therefore, if you fall as fall as Christian in the midst of temptation, quickly get up and look for the way of escape in the Holy Scriptures and over come the temptation.

As l conclude, no matter what you are going through in life; no matter the situation you find yourself in; no matter the challenges, there is a way out for you. Again, there is a second chance for you to rewrite your failure into success. Seek the face of God and His grace until you have your answer in your hand and hold unto God's Word when you have received your answers to maintain it.
