The death of Christ on the cross is a central act for Christianity, it is interesting to know that the word for cross in Latin comes from the word "crucial", that is, central, important. We can understand the natural repulsion that people feel for the cross. The execution of death on the cross was terribly cruel. To tell the truth, it was legalized sadism. But for those who believe, the cross has perfect meaning. The salvation of man can only occur when the law of God is satisfied, the law that was always broken by man.
