What is there to learn from the temptation that happened in the Garden of Eden? Many individuals can only recollect the record of the temptation in Genesis 3 for the fall of man and the punishments given to the Adam, Eve and the serpent. But there are other things to learn from there. This post shares some other things to pick from the temptation of Adam and Eve.

_Then the serpent said to the lady, "You won't definitely pass on. For God realizes that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will resemble God, knowing good and evil." So when the lady saw that the tree was good for nourishment, that it was charming to the eyes, and a tree alluring to make one wise, she took of its products of the soil. She likewise provided for her husband with her, and he ate – Genesis 3:4-7 (NKJV). _

The scriptures are for reproof, correction, instructions and doctrine with the goal that you might be finished and completely prepared for good works (2 Timothy 3:16-17), and this incorporates the scriptures on the temptation of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. This portrays the fall of man from beauty to grass, but there are additionally some critical things to learn from the story.

Lessons from the temptation in the Garden of Eden

Unrevealed things are for your good.

Secret things are for God but the uncovered ones are for us (Deuteronomy 29:29). It is not everything that you should know. There are sure things that ought to stay obscure. At the point when God does not uncover certain things to you even after your persistent demand for a revelation of the thing, realize that it is for your good. God adores you and would dependably shield you from future inconveniences in any capacity He esteems fit, which may incorporate not giving all of you the points of interest of something. This is because of the way that He is knows the end from the start and He knows you extremely well as your creator. Depend on God's adoration and assume that He will never mismanage your life or predetermination.

God told Adam not to eat from a specific tree and did not give them the reason why they shouldn't eat from it. But satan came and gave them the reason and they did precisely what God needed to stay away from for them – to want to know the good and the evil. They were being protected from evil, but disobedience presented them to it, and that turned into the genesis of evil on earth.

Don't be enticed to recognize what is not uncovered from other sources

When you approach God for revelation of something and it appears as though the Lord is not prepared to answer yet, look out for Him till your change come (Employment 14:14). Don't attempt to be more brilliant or speedier than God by going to discover in the wrong way. The foe dislikes you and only needs to take from you, pulverize and murder you or your predetermination. Nothing from the devil is ever good. It might take a gander at first but at the long run the evil of him will turn out. On the off chance that God doesn't demonstrate to you what you asked for, abandon it and proceed onward.

The devil uncovered what might happen if Adam and Eve were to eat the forbidden products of the soil needed to know good and evil, to be wise without wanting to for them. When they respected the temptation, satan's dangerous mission was accomplished.

Don't be driven by your flesh

Being carnally minded only leads to death but being spiritually minded leads to life and peace (Romans 8:6). Enabling yourself to be driven by your fleshly wants achieves your defeat. When you stroll in the flesh you lose to the adversary, but when you stroll in the spirit you defeat all temptations (Galatians 5:16).

The tree looked good to the eyes and for sustenance. Adam and Eve yielded to the temptation to satisfy their flesh and they lost to the adversary.

Bad company will dependably motivation inconvenience for you

Bad company corrupts good manners (1 Corinthians 15:33), but you are honored when you don't stroll as per the direction of the underhanded nor stay with their (Psalm 1:1). Adam and Eve were alright, strolling in obedience to God until the point when they connected with a conversation with the serpent. The conversation adulterated their contemplations and obedience to God, which prompted their fall and punishment.

Blaming others never solves any problem

Many individuals have the propensity for blaming others for bad happenings as opposed to assuming liability of their actions that prompted the bad happenings. Blaming others won't make the problem to disappear. Adam and Eve were blaming others but it didn't change the consequence of their disobedience. What happened had happened and they were all to confront the consequences, nobody was exempted.

There is dependably a consequence of disobedience

Each progression you need to take or decision you need to make presents two options (Deuteronomy 30:19): obedience or disobedience to God. Your decision decides the result you get. God doesn't simply punish individuals, we are the ones who choose what we get. Obey God and appreciate endowments, disobey God and get reviles and confront the consequences. Adam and Eve disobeyed God and they got the condemnations and punishment that run with it.

What other lessons would you be able to pick from the temptation in the Garden of Eden?

@STEEMCHURCH

The temptation in the garden of Eden shows us that as Christians when we find our fellow brethren doing something contrary to God's word, we shouldn't be lured to join them just because we might gain one thing or the other but rather we should try to call him or her to order.

We should always learn to be content with everything He gives us and walk in obedience with His will .nice one peace

Thank you @tikhub. "Contentment" is the word.

Thanks for sharing this with us, God doesn't simply punish individuals, we are the ones who choose what we get.

This is so true, I totally agree with you. Bad company, flesh desires and unnecessary curiosity can lead to doom

The devil is always there watching our progress and what we do everyday .
His plan is always yobkeep us away from the Lord whi is our savour .
God is our protection for those who have faith in him and truelly worship him.
The devil will always flee from you when you have christ in you

Three things are so glaring from the lesson:

  1. The pride of life - seeking to be like God in wisdom
  2. The lust of the eye - seeing that it looked good
  3. The lust of the flesh - thinking that the fruit will be good for food.

May God save from these traps as always set by the enemy.

Well said May his grace continue to keep us

We just have to wait for God's time, this time is perfect and we can do everything in Christ that strengthens us, waiting for God is the key to everything

Learnt alot from this post .
Never wish to know everything, some things are best unknown.
