WHY SEEK THE UNSEEN
God calls Abraham after the order of what to show him. This is where we get it wrong. Faith doesn't step out in uncertainty....no. A big no. It steps out in certainty. So Abraham didn't just start walking. He knew where God was taking him. How? He saw it. Why do I say so? Your theology tells you otherwise right? But how do you set off if you don't know where you are going? In what direction then do you go? The fact that Abraham chose a direction tells you he had seen the land though afar off, he had brought it near into the seen. This is why God could call him to behold his descendants as the stars and the sand at the seaside. The man was a practitioner and so it made sense to him that God asked he see this. God won't take you where He hasn't proven you capable or triumphant. Israel... I mean those that left Egypt couldn't enter the promised land because they hadn't entered in their mind of faith.
So then, the faith of God works upon the surety of what is seen beyond the seen or what we term reality. When all you can see is an empty bank account, you can't believe God for supernatural financial increase. If you can't see yourself walking, you will never take a first step at it. That is how even babies begin walking. They see it and innately believe the unseen of they walking and so act accordingly. Soon you see them running. What you cannot see, you do not enter. I wish I could get it more clearer for you. But see, the same way a farmer sees the harvest in a seed...though small and as though lifeless, such is the law of faith. We see beyond the seed and as such plant it for the harvest. So this is it: to be firm on faith, you see it to the end of the matter and release your all to receiving it. Faith let's you see into the soil where the seed is plant, to seeing the shoots coming out, to branches and leaves developing and then to the bountiful harvest. I pray your eyes be enlightened to test your faith today. I challenge you to put it to work. (Pray with all earnestness). Declare I see the end of the matter. Hallelujah.
