DECLARE HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS
Hello parishioners of steemchurch peace be with you all.
Today let me share the word with you.
I have not hid your righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
Psalm 40:10
The righteousness of God since the beginning of the world has been known by His acts. Most especially in the old testament people experienced God's righteousness through His judgement. The fairness of God in all matters of life and judgement help them to distinguish between God's righteousness and that of men. David a man full of God's love understood the very nature and character of God by his encounters with the Hoy One of Israel.
This was a man who loved to dwell in the court of the Most High and he indeed saw the uprightness of our God. He saw how faithful and truthful our God is which was but a glimpse of His Righteousness. Even with the glimpse that David had he never refrained from declaring it in the great congregation.
But what does the scripture say in the new testament concerning the righteousness of God. " But the righteousness of God without the law is revealed, being witnessed by the law and the Prophets". Romans 3:21
This connotes that the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ was the full revelation of God's righteousness. Jesus himself is the righteousness of God we have received into our hearts; Jesus taking residence in us is the righteousness of God in us.
What then must we do with this righteousness of God in us? We like David must declare him unto our world. We must tell people about the goodness and the unfailing love of God which was manifested in Jesus . Don't keep quiet of God's fairness and justice which he has shown us in Christ. God has made you His righteous without works, he freely gave it to you by sending his only son to die a shameful death for you.
The bible says in Romans 3:26 that God did all this to demonstrate that he himself is righteous and that he justifies anyone who has the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. This is so amazing and tremendous. He did all this for you . Let the righteousness of God forever be on your lips. Declare His righteousness, glory to Jesus.

Thanks @bigssam for the word, I love it because it is true and filled with truths, it’s the righteousness of God for us to preach and teach the truth; that’s the gospel and that’s the power of God unto salvation!
Jesus is our righteousness and also the righteousness of God for man, thus it is said 1 Timothy 2:4-6
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
