God's promises for your life

I do not know if you already noticed, but regardless of what their problems are, people always believe in something (a word that that experience is bringing to us) and they cling to it. Even those who say they do not believe in anything else make their "nothing" their god, their belief. Whether we like it or not, whether we like it or not, we are led to believe in some kind of word, only that we can choose which of them will want to believe, which one will be defined.

Have you noticed that I am speaking a lot in the word WORD? This is intentional, to show that, of all the words, there is nothing greater, better, truer and more faithful than the Word of God and its promises. And it is in the Bible that you find that Word that you need so that God's purposes are fulfilled in your life.

Maybe you think: "Ah ... that does not work for my reality". But if you continue with that thought, then the "does not work" will, in fact, be what you are going to believe.

Our problem is that people are putting more value on what people talk than what God speaks about us; and the consequence of this is a lot of negative and even traumatic experiences. Some come to desist and complain, putting the blame on God for their sufferings, instead of taking responsibility for having disobeyed the voice of Him. And look only at what the Bible says about it: What does man complain about, then? living? Each of his sins is burned (Lamentations 3.39).

In any case, if you have already gone through some frustrations (like me), do not let those experiences be more relevant than the Word of the Lord. You will see that the energy expended to believe in the promises of Him will be the same spent to discredit what He says. The only condition for changing that result is: if you believe, if you have faith, you will see the blessings of the Lord. If it does not persist, the result of this story will possibly be another, not legal.

In the event that my story is not known, I need to tell you one thing: in the long term, my girlfriend ended up with me to stay with another; Actually, before the termination, she betrayed me with him. Think of a person who stayed very, very wrong. Well, it's ... that person was me. I, who thought I was going to die when I thought that "the love of my life" was gone and that, from that moment, it would be impossible to be happy. But then, faced with that situation, instead of giving up, of believing in a word of death, I chose life and decided to seek God for real. And, although I felt powerless at the beginning, I persisted in that goal, until little by little I was emotionally healed and my heart was filled with the promises of God. What, to me, seemed a great loss was, in fact, the response of the Lord: with that relationship, He would not fulfill His purposes in me. It was not the "no" of my ex-girlfriend who prevented the project of a marriage, but the "yes" of God, because He had something better for me.

God's plans are not conditioned to what other people want; they are exclusively oriented to the sovereignty of Him in alliance with our obedience. In God, there is no luck, chance or impossibility. The blessings of the Lord go to our meeting when people persist in obeying Him.
