STEEMCHURCH - The Concept of Biblical Marriage

The pattern of Marriage was laid by God in the Garden of Eden when He created Eve from Adam and gave her to him to become his wife. Marriage is God's gift to humanity, marriage was not created by culture or people rather the idea of Marriage was created by Him. Marriage is a purposeful provision for humanity's fulfillment, it is a desirable gift.

Though the subject of Marriage is commonly discussed in our society, the Bible still remains the best manual for guidance, through it God gives solutions to all marital puzzles. God also instituted marriage as a lifetime commitment between couples.

Matthew 19:4-6 reveals God's mind on Marriage

4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’[a] 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’[b]? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
