Calling all Steem Artists and Photographers

One of our primary goals since conceptualizing this magazine has been to engage the community in helping us with the project as much as possible. Since we need a cover, we thought that it would be perfect to give anyone the chance to display their art on the cover by submitting their posts rather than just searching for some art elsewhere and using it for the cover.

After this post pays out, we will go through all the submissions and pick the one that we feel fits the magazine best, so it looks good in both digital and printed formats. We reserve the right not to upvote or pick any of the submissions if something smells fishy.

Any art or photography, no matter the subject can qualify for a submission but keep in mind that those that represent the best of this ecosystem and Steem have a more significant chance of being approved.

We will prepare a post one week from now announcing the winner and showcasing the cover. There are no prizes involved besides appearing on the cover of The STEEM Chronicles, a magazine that will hopefully be distributed worldwide by Steemians, and receiving votes from the team members. In case you aren’t selected to be on the cover, don’t worry about it, you still have a chance to be featured in the magazine but more about that in the future.

Requirements

• The submission must be original artwork or photography
• It can be previous work or specialized for the magazine
• If it is a new post, post it on Steemit with the title [Steem Chronicles] [Your post title] and use the tag #steemchronicles
• If you are sharing something from an older post on Steemit, you can directly link it to us in the comment section
• You can even make a compilation filled with your former work, letting the Steem Chronicles team choose the one that fits the best
• The submission for the cover only lasts seven days, but you can still submit art and photography because we might use them in the magazine if needed.
• Contributors must be aware that this is a community project and the copyrights of ownership that follows.

Copyrights Information

This magazine is a community project for free distribution. Anyone can have it online by downloading it when it’s ready and offline by printing it themselves afterward. Our team does not take any personal profit besides the rewards generated from posting. Most of the income generated from the posts will be used for the production of the magazine and its distribution. By using the tag #steemchronicles or linking us to your work through comments, you give us permission to use your work in the magazine how we see fit (not for profit, of course), for example, we may crop it or resize it so that it fits nicely.
