Is He a Smart Shopper.......???

My husband is a smart shopper....... yes he thinks....... Mainly he does grocery shopping for the house. I don't care for the prices much but he does. To avoid the conflicts and save my time I don't go with him for the grocery. Though he works hard to find the cheapest rates looking at the flyers but he comes back with extra things which are not needed or in extra amount which get expired later on or not used at all.......... I wonder what type of saving is this.........Buying tons of tons of things in sale which are not needed at the moment that may expire before use and go to garbage in the end......... But he is happy ......... ok .........as you wish........ I remain silent.........After all he is a smart shopper.......

My freezers are always full. What happened few years ago. He turned up the temperature of my big freezer in the basement. (Of course to save energy). After few days when I went there to pick up some thing from the freezer, there was a very bad smell coming from inside and all the things were rotten away. The pizza packets were blowing out like a ballon. Chichen, meet and frozen vegetables were all rotten away. May be a loss of $200 or more. But he is a smart shopper....... he had saved a lot of money on enrgy bill........

Once I bought a packet of puff pastry materal from Toronto through my friend ( I love puff pastry to make different types of items from it) After coming back from shopping, to make space in the freezer for new things, he put the puff pastry sheets packet out of freezer and forgot to put it back in. The base ment of that house was not in use as living space but used as store and on one corner was laundry. Nearly about 3 or 4 dyas when I went to get the pastry sheets I found the sheets out of freezer rottened out. I was extremely shocked......... These sheets are not sold in usual stores and were expensive too....... but he had saved on thing thrusted in the freezer............. After all he is a smart shopper.......!

He has a great craze for gardening. Last year he bougnt on sale dozens of flowers in big and small pots when the season was almost gone. They could not withstand the cold weather and died in a couple of weeks. But he had done a smart shopping saving many bucks. Is n't he a smart shopper........???

Last summer 6 standing fans came to my house by virtue of this smart shopping. Four were already there for a 4 bed room house. Same thing happens with cooking pots, crockry, soft drinks and other things. My pantry cupboards are full....
