Welcome to SteemBet, the next-generation Steem-based gaming platform. In this SteemBet weekly report we will update our project development, data of game and status of community. We will publish the report every weekend so that you can know the state of SteemBet and the latest updates.

Important Update

Hi Steem-betters,
In this weekly report we have a few big announcements to make. Based on user feedback from our official Discord group, we decided to make communication more open and transparent to everyone. From now on we assure you that every comment and feedback will be reviewed and addressed carefully. We want to make things right and build the greatest gaming platform on STEEM.

You Speak, We Listen

On Mar 5th, we made a decision to increase total amount of SBT 5 times to 4.4 billion, which set fire in community and hasn’t been addressed until today. Now, we apologize to a few early investors such as @broncnutz and @crypticat. In retrospect, first we didn’t put enough effort in listening to community members, and second the attitude we held was absolutely wrong. The development of our product needs to be based on communication and not our own implications. Steem-bet is young and we are still learning. After talking to above mentioned users we decided to make a few announcements and platform updates.

a) All SBT reward received before 03/05 will be multiplied by 5X

For example, before 03/05 if you had 100 SBT, and mined another 100 SBT afterwards. With this change you are expected to have 100*5 + 100 = 600 SBT in your account balance. The reason of this change is to (explained further above) inflate the total amount of diluted SBT shares of early holders by 80%, which is fair. Therefore, the SBT increase is to keep in proportion to total amount change.

b) Addressing questions asked by @crypticat In regards to https://steemit.com/blockchain/@crypticat/lack-of-integrity-on-the-blockchain-a-steem-bet-web-of-lies, SBT tokens are not pre-mined, and staking of SBT from mentioned bot accounts @fairytay @kezjo001 @xqzk09fd are prohibited in our system, meaning SBT dividends will not be diluted by those accounts.

c) We made a mistake by mass commenting messages on unrelated posts.

*** We hereby apologize to all Steemians who may of had a bad experience due to the apparent spam.
*** Our target audience calibration definitely needs to be improved and tested at a smaller scale. This requires a lot of work, but we will keep working on it till we only reach users who are likely interested in our games.

We want to give a direct apology to @abitcoinskeptic whose post in a recent favorite restaurants competition https://steemit.com/tasteem/@abitcoinskeptic/tasteem-c9a8f5 was affected. If anyone sees unrelated post again in future, please feel free to reach out to us.

Introducing Steem-bet Platform Token (SPT) our Governance Token

Why do we have another token? SBT was never designed to represent shares of Steem-bet platform; SPT is. We are also giving out more platform revenue to community members and setting up our stakeholder-governance structure.

Become the House

Holding SPT will give you platform revenue share over time, as well voting rights for important platform decisions. Currently 40% of platform revenue goes to SBT dividend pool, by adding SPT reward we are giving out an extra 30% of platform revenue to our users.

The SPT reward pool is going to start from ~3,000 STEEM, and grow at the same rate as the SBT dividend pool. For example, as of today SBT dividend pool is almost 4,000 STEEM; let’s say in three weeks, SBT pool reaches 8,000 STEEM; then the SPT reward will be ~6,000 STEEM.

How do you get SPT shares?

SPT shares are purchased with STEEM and will be sold on Steem-bet platform in multiplies of 2M SPT for 250 STEEM. For example, one can purchase with below options:
2M SPT for 250 STEEM
4M SPT for 500 STEEM
6M SPT for 750 STEEM
, and so on.

Please note, the first round of SPT sale will have a very limited supply and only sold to qualified Steemians.

New game design is Ready: STEEM Roulette

To give our users a sneak-peek of what’s happening in our dev studio, we are displaying design of our second game: Roulette.
Roulette is a casino game named after the French word meaning little wheel. In the game, players may choose to place bets on either a single number, various groupings of numbers, the colors red or black, whether the number is odd or even, or if the numbers are high or low. We chose Roulette as the second game because of it’s simplicity, fun factor, and the team being huge fans of Roulette ourselves.
