Free SBI shares for newbies!
Last week seen an overwhelming surge of people who applied, not everyone could get one. If you did not receive a reply at all from your previous entry you MAY REUSE IT. After a bit of a break we are ready to get back to helping newbies and anyone else we can. We are going to try to stick to 3-5 SBI shares given out per day.
With all the applicants I will give a hint to help you move up the line and make yourself stand out. For a better chance at winning include a link to your introduction post and the post you are most proud of. If you are reusing a comment that didn't get you a share from past posts tell me the number of attempts too. If this is your second or third failed attempt, it likely has more to do with the number of applicants so don't get discouraged.
Steemit can be a difficult place to start out on these days I'm told, unless you know someone who has been on the platform for a long time or spend some money on a little Steem Power. Getting a post to pay out at all can be a difficult task. I won't even try to go into details of what is wrong with steemit, I don't think I have a clue anyways, instead I will try and help do something about it. We are going to try this every day for 30 days, giving out 3 or more sponsorships into steembasicincome.
@steembasicincome is a social experiment implementing a voting bot system that you can get sponsored shares into. When you receive sponsorship you will get regular upvotes from their bot to support your posts. It is easy to see the benefits of sponsorship, you can find out the details of steembasicincome here.

In the comments below tell me how having a steembasicincome would help you. At least three will be selected for enrollment in steembasicincome. You can be selected more than once but preference will be given to unsponsored applicants.
If you have already entered, feel free to do so again, if you have previously won, maybe talk about how getting an extra vote helps, talk about what you get, or explain how getting more could help. Take a look at @papacrushers replys, he's a pro at this.

Have a proper introduction post
Have put in an effort to post regularly
Posts quality content (subjective)
Interacts with and support others
Have a reputation above 25 but below 55 (Not required)
Support this post with an upvote or resteem (Not required)
So tell me your steemit story, let me in on how difficult it can be.
Share with us your reasons for being on the platform, explain your plights. Not everyone will be selected everyday, so show me that you really want it. Who knows, maybe you will find some followers too. Three or more of you will be enrolled and hopefully your steemit journey will be a little easier.

I've been awarded a share several times from these sponsorship posts. I hope if you're reading and you do not yet have a share that you will apply. Just be a real person and share your experience. There's no catch.
Since others are not taking this opportunity, I will try yet again. I said all of the above because I was intimidated by this post the first time I saw it. I thought I was too new to apply.
There's a learning curve to this. Be willing to learn and be patient. If you can't afford to invest in steem, you will need to be patient and focused to make progress. You need to comment sincerely on posts like these and those that match your interests. It's not all about posting your great content. If you can't engage with a community, no one will see your content, great or not.
It can be discouraging when you feel invisible. If you're feeling that now, take a chance and apply for a sponsored share in SBI.
I started blogging about a month ago, (intro post here) and before SBI, I was getting zero votes and zero comments on my posts.
Even though my share was tiny, it was encouraging to get a vote on all my posts.
Today my adjusted share count is 12. My last vote came in a few minutes ago at $0.019 from sbi3. I post about once or twice a day.
Now, I feel like I have an idea of how earning works here. I know that it will take more than a few shares to receive a basic income. I still believe in the program and I will be sponsoring more folks personally. That is on hold for the moment just because I want to do it from my app account and not my "person" account, @nikema.

Here is my introduction post and here is a poem I wrote for my wife and to celebrate 1000 posts! I think I am up to around 15 shares and I noticed on my most recent post that my upvote has increased to .08!
My last comment for additional shares in #steembasicincome dealt with spending time with seniors and how much they have to offer to us as a society. I wanted to build on that a bit with mentioning how additional shares could help my wife and I with therapy dogs.
My wife and I have long wanted to start with getting our Great Dane, Sasha, therapy certified to visit organizations such as senior centers, children's hospitals, and PTSD counseling sessions. We would also like to explore the idea of starting a more organized effort to may adopt more dogs to be trained for this purpose. Not only does this give the rescued animals purpose and drive, it is an amazing asset to those in these above mentioned situations. These types of animals literally save lives and to me that is an extremely noble cause.
