man, this month on steemit has been insane, i felt like i’ve met so many new faces, learned a lot about crypto and blockchain, used exchanges, sent money, received funds, watched things go up and down, learned about new blockchains, got excited about a life living between blockchains and crypto wallet addresses, i’m starting to see how this is going to integrate into the day to day life of digital workers. i can see beyond it too, how location based geo services are going to adapt and change.
consider being in your favourite chain eating pizza and you get paid a small amount of crypto for your patronage, what if you’re a regular, you allow the notification that says you’re back and you get AI suggestions on what to eat today based on your food intake, fitbit data and rewards level, what if you can automatically give that at the end of the meal to your server.
the tip becomes crypto, no more pots of coins behind the bar having to wait until the boss decides to divvy up the pot, you leave on time, into the night with a digital wallet full of tips ready to enjoy your own transition into consumer land. crypto is the micro payments access that the world has been looking for, the flexibility and speed of realtime, the fastest blockchains win, trading everything from real world assets to the literally time you are alive here on planet earth. as a technologist, it’s bloody exciting.
