Whatsup and new steemians

The user whatsup recently made a wonderful post. I would like to add my own thoughts to the mix, in a more standard way.

I totally agree with the idea that people should focus on content rather than traffic, but I feel that the type of content on steem currently is not varied enough to start getting large amounts of traffic and revenue from.

Not to say that people aren't creative, but I've seen FAR more memes, blogs, and vlogs than anything else on this site. I would love to see more things like video series, games, music, novels, or art on steem, and i'm sure you would too!

Please start nudging the creators you know towards steem, hopefully we can get a good mix of digital (and maybe even physical) content on this site!

If we have more different forms of content we can get lots more people to join, which means more interaction all around and more money generated! It's literally a no-lose situation!
