But again those who are just posting for the financial gains are not going to last. The reasons I say the steem will grow is:

2. There is no illigeal association like Bitcoin. Which is always linked to drugs and terroist organisations. All user are verified and not unanimous.
3. There is no need to invest. Just get on to the platform start posting and curating.
4. Very new and has great potential. And based on successful blockchain technology.

With Blockchain tecnology being used/adopted in many firms. There is no better option than Steem. yes there is always the pioneer Bitcoin, but when it comes to reliability steem will stand out.
