12 cent in 2 hours vs 6000 bucks in 5 minutes
I wrote an article yesterday, that took me really long and I put a lot of knowledge in there as well. I am in crypto since 2013 and have kind of much experience with it. I also tried to structure it nicely. Maybe it was too long but also long articles were successful, so this can't be the only problem.
So the result after 12 hours was 12 cent! I looked a little around and saw some other posts, that were written in 5 minutes and had way less good content (I know that is subjective, but I tried to be very objective already) and some got 6000$!
So I somehow guess, steem has still a problem with rewarding the right content. Or do I miss something out here? I also know, that it may depend on the subject as well, but the other subject was not really that different.
Here is my article I was talking about. Please give some advice, and tell me, why it's that low rated.
I thought about splitting the article now and make several out of it. Do you think, that's the right way?
Keep writing your stuff! The community votes and decides on the content, the only thing to do is remain consistent and original.
Well written article :) I did realise that people seem to vote more on the lifestory posts. Dont give up, keep posting and you will be rewarded eventually!!
The guy that got 6000 is a well known crypto guy, and i imagine all the big steem power holders were happy to have him here.
I hate to be a douche, but your article was incredibly facile... the very last part (when should i sell) was absurd. the rest of it was stuff anyone with a lick of common sense knows. Do you really think there are a ton of people that need you to tell them that one shouldn't invest what one can't afford to lose, or that the dot com bubble made a lot of people money?
I know, that the information was very basic, but if you let it read your girlfriend or mom, they will still ask for many things, they don't know. I thought, there are a lot of people, that are NOT in crypto yet, coming just for making money by posting. I wanted to make a introduction for them to oversee the crypto space. And it's not obvious for everyone, that crypto can be the new dot net hype.
Also the selling time is chosen for people, that don't want to track a coin daily. You invest one time and that was it, just what you could have done with microsoft or apple...
