Elevator Pitch - Why should a potential investor consider buying STEEM?
In case you haven't heard, I'm organizing a Invest in Steem Social Media Blast Day. To get involved, please check out the announcement post.
As part of the campaign, I would like to create a "50 reasons to invest in STEEM" post (or 100, or however many we can come up with) for people to use when pitching STEEM to potential investors. Help me come up with the list of reasons.

It's entry-level crypto for the layman.
Account names are names.
Savings account, powerdown period and account recovery as security features.
Troll discouragement built in, attracts the best type of people.
Encouraging others with tips is great for one's mental health.
Rapid block times, fee-free transactions.
Choice of condensers.
Stable hedge. Take gains off the table with SBDs instead of moving to an exchange or bank.
Steemmonsters. (Another great hedge)
DPOS is more decentralised than having a handful of mining pools. (Every phone call between China and Iceland could be collusion to 51% attack bitcoin)
Airdrops without contentious hardforks deliver the best of both worlds.
Proxy witness voting.
@aggroed and @yabapmatt have commissioned a metamask style browser extension to keep keys off the net.

Through @oracle-d they can get bloggers to write about their product or business! And the investment can be reversed because they can power down.

Similar ideas, but I think that one of the real strengths of Steem will end up being engaging communities to help build and grow things and rewarding them for their efforts, essentially "employing" thousands of people with different skills for an hour or so a day.

Steem blockchain, through its DPoS consensus, gives stakeholders a real opportunity to be a part of the decision-making process when it comes to the future of social media.
Steem is by far the most widely used blockchain by normal people. However, the number of active users has huge potential to increase - the most popular app right now (Steemit) has quite bad UX, but people use it anyway. The more people use Steem, the more people use crypto. That's a real gateway to the decentralized world.

Better to have 7, 19 or 34 good discrete reasons rather than aiming for fifty for the sake of it being a round number!

I think these are a great launchpad @itstime. If anyone has the accurate numbers, I can start to concept some images to visualize these ideas.

That sounds a tad unrealistic , gotta make it truthy ,
throw random fractions like - 91.5 ICO fail within 159.52 days
Keep in mind the golden rule , it doesn't need to BE TRUE , it needs to SOUND TRUE.
A friend of mine bought ICO's, then 6 months later; Bam, herpes.
So , he had a good run for 6 months ? still much longer than 86.7 % of ICOs
BTW did I mention STEEM grows hair back on bald heads...it just does !!
