Full-Time Employee

in #steem5 years ago (edited)

I spend most of my time nowadays working on Steem, in some manner.
That is the power of a network like Steem; I voluntarily work 60 + hours a week on Steem related tasks. This is why I am so bullish for this blockchain. I see the SPS as a way to bolster this kind of activities even further.

I love this place, and I will keep giving my heart to see it succeed.
Just think of how powerful that is... people are willing to work on the Steem blockchain in an open sourced, voluntary way! We have a ton of people who are passionate "full-time employees" of Steem, because this place gives people opportunities & connections no other place can offer.

I believe we've hit rock bottom.
All the vibrancy & life you see coming as of late is simply the bounce back up. Yin & Yang. You can't keep winners down forever; you can only temporarily keep their spots warm until they return.

I'm currently more bullish on Steem than I ever was. What an opportunity for all of us! Thanks for all the work you do!

It’s rare to have colleagues this awesome :-)

Couldn't agree more with you! I'm pretty sure that when the new alt-season starts, steem will be up top again.

I appreciate your passion for working, Dan. Hopefully Steem will be more successful in the future. Enjoy your day, friend.

As Steem prices rise, we'll have more people working full time on the steem blockchain. Strong network effects. The way the economy is headed, i think it'll be needed.

You're an awesome colleague I must say. This place totally changed my view about society, taught me new concepts and skills and connected me to many awesome people. Best place to work in I must say. I'm with steemit whether its Bull or Bear.

Awesome. Encouragement to your followers. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and passion for steem.

I don't really have a white collar job. I dwell in STEEM for survival

When people work for belief rather than just money amazing things result. Steem is blessed with many extraordinary people who are changing the world!

Well, 3Speak is awesome, but not for me as someone who does gaming videos for fun. But DTube wasn't all that there yet, so I didn't really have a place to call home on Steem. I loved it and its potential, but I was waiting for a day when something came out that was perfect for me. Well, the day came with the new DTube update. I've always been excited about developments here, but now that something speaks directly to me I can't contain my excitement for this blockchain. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling it, everything's starting to come together.

I am glad the steem ecosystem is so robust, there is something for everyone. We pushed 3speak our before we were fully prepared. If you look on 3speak, you will see a lot of people who were either on steem and quit a long time ago, or new content creators who were never on steem. If we had opened to the masses, with the quality we provide, we would have failed before even getting a chance. 3speak will be open to everyone, but there was a reason we did what we did, and if we didn’t, maybe we lose some of the big time creators we already landed to the likes of dlive/bittube.

Oh yeah, when 3Speak opens up for everyone I definitely see myself using that as well. DTube's direction is being a hub for all of your media content. Right now I'm using Youtube to host my videos, but that's like building on a quicksand. All it takes is one game developer who doesn't like you making videos of their games and your channel gets shut down with no means of fighting back. I've seen it happen plenty of times and have had close calls myself. That's not a good place to build your foundation. I'd rather use 3Speak for something like that. So in the future I'll probably be using both DTube and 3Speak. :)
