This is extremely well-put and spot on target. It's fundamentally witnesses' job to evaluate a hard fork, but the idea that that should be doing code review rather than managing code review is very off. You need to be paying attention to the people doing the code review, not necessarily doing it yourself.

(Please don't blame introversion, though. There's no reason introverts can't communicate well, we just have to be somewhat more intentional about it, which in this case is necessary anyway.)
