Sorry to anyone wanting to sell SBD this week...
This was the view I was greeted with tonight. I'm sure there's many of you out there wanting to make jokes about 4.20 but I'm not laughing :(
A couple of days ago I made the decision to trade in some SBD for some pictures of the dear old Lizzie II, Queen of England. I'm not talking any old portraits but the kind that you find on the official currency of the realm, pounds sterling. Yes, I'm waffling, I'm selling some SBD for cash.
I have a buyer lined up, the esteemed Welshman himself @pennsif. SBD was sitting at a fairly happy $6, not amazing but also not bad, about par for the course. We decided to wait until Friday to setup the deal, or thereabouts. In those few days SBD (and Steem) took a dump. You can see on the graph that the price peaked a little over the weekend but then it's like it saw me coming...
So, to everyone wanting to sell Steem or SBD this week, I apologise. Much like washing your car will always make it rain and taking a day off work never leads to a day of rest... sod's law has kicked in. My bad!
I'm hoping that SBD rallies overnight and we can sort out a reasonable, moderate price but if it keeps dropping faster than a tart's knickers I may either have to be a bad man and cancel or take the loss.
Just as a bit of a heads up, I'm planning to hang out some washing tomorrow so expect rain, gale force winds and a plague of locusts ;)

Yeah, if you're planning on selling, this is a rough time to do it. Then again, with the conditions as they are, now might be the best time for a while to do so. There's a lot of FUD going on, and Steem/SBD have been getting inflated, so there's going to be a lot of downward pressure on the price.
(Just my opinion. Not investing advice.)

Well, the hope is to sell all of the sbd I make this year to fund some projects around the house and garden. I imagine over time it will all balance out and "playing the game" might just as easily lose me as much as I could gain.
And of course, anything is better than nothing... I could be posting all of this on FaceBook! :P
