This is great now to get the world to start adopting
With the increased workload that this would cause the network will we need to scale and are there scaling plans in the works
Is there actually a hardfork required to enable SMTs ?

Is it possible to get slightly more accurate dates or time frames instead of "soon" and an entire year-long window? Is this expected to launch in Q1...Q3...?
hopefully sometime after hf20 and if we're lucky 1.0 is still in the picture somewhere

At a glance, half of the paper is technical specifications. You can get by on the first 10-20 pages it looks like - and I'd suggest that this is important enough to make time for.
Yeah you're right, my weekend reading slot is filled! I'm sure I should be excited, but I don't really know why yet :-D
