Everyone should read the Whitepaper

There has been a lot of speculation about Steem recently online. Some people say it is a scam or scheme of some kind. Others are very supportive of the platform. What I think we can say for sure is that Steemit is an experiment and no one can be sure how it will end.

Everyone should take the time the read the Whitepaper. For those who have not, go to the menu bar and click on "Steemit Whitepaper" or go here: https://steem.io/SteemWhitePaper.pdf. I'm surprised when people make claims about Steem or Steemit and it is apparent they have not read the Whitepaper.

Most important are the sections on Steem, Steem Power, and Steem Dollars. For those worried about how the Steem currency works, inflation, holding it for long terms, etc, the Whitepaper is very upfront in describing the fundamentals for each category of item.
