AnonSteem has just hit 100 registered accounts [THANK YOU]
I'd like to thank everyone for helping @anonsteem hit 100 registered accounts.
That means I've spent almost 1000 STEEM on creating accounts! I'm glad that AnonSteem has been such a big hit, and I hope everyone continues to enjoy the service.
For anyone who doesn't know, AnonSteem is a service which allows you to create accounts without social media, instead paying for your account creation fee directly with BTC/LTC.

err..could you elaborate? unenlightened minnow questions - why should anonymous accounts benefit the community, why should I want loads of them, and what is BTC/LTC?
A few things have happened that make this a good idea.

Not everyone trusts social media. Many people don't have Facebook or Reddit accounts, and would be much happier paying for their account.
AnonSteem is anonymous because I believe everyone has a right to privacy. There should be no reason for me to ask for personal details just to create you a username on STEEM. So far there has been no known abuse from accounts made by AnonSteem, many of the accounts have went on to be successful steemians.
BTC/LTC means you can pay with Bitcoin or Litecoin, they are popular cryptocurrencies similar to STEEM and STEEM Dollars. I explained in the original post that I don't allow STEEM payments because that would link you to AnonSteem and possibly reveal the link between your multiple accounts without you realising the risk.

Privacy is seriously important thing in the current world.
Could it be possible that a user could buy more Steem Power than just the minimum amount? It would be very easy for a new user to get more voting power if they could buy it when they create the account.
What is this minimum amount you speak of? Do you mean the signup bonus of about 3 Steem Power (or however much it is)?
Yes, anybody can buy as much Steem as they want at Bittrex. Many users have done this.
But voting power is pretty expensive. I have about $1000 worth of SP, and my vote only bumps payouts up by about $0.01.
A Steem account needs certain amount of Steem Power so that it can be used. Not sure how much it's currently but I assume that accounts that are created through AnonSteem aren't getting much more than that.
Yeah, users can by it more later, but I was thinking that it would be nice to have an option to buy it also at the same time when the account is created. It would be the easiest way.
