its not about the ratio at all.. (but 1:10 is sexy.. ;-) ) but if you finally want to do a token swap you have to show steemians (steemy's ;-) ) that they get a fair deal for their tokens..
.. as the steem token went up like a rocket I assume Justin pocketed quite a bunch before his announcement (knowing it will go up).. so atm he has loads of tron but also some bags full of free tradeable / secret steem tokens.. so by placing orders he can keep the pair at 1:10 for quite some time.. people get used to it and see the 1:10 as a kind of natural rule of nature and will accept a possible swap.. and any big volatility between the two tokens would be bad for such an endeavor.. just an idea... ;-)
