The Dead Follower/Dead Following and How Much Lambo? Calc tools are back online!
Hey Again Steemitizens
This post got completely fucked by either steem or steem plus or chrome, but based on HOW, im looking at steemit inc as usual for allowing the NEW POST button to somehow cause an edit to a post from 24 hours prior when I was not even on the older posts page or anywhere near it.
Anyway, at this point it's 24 hours old and no one will ever see it again anyway, but hey, here is the gist of what it said.
http://steem.agency, the home page for @NobleWitness team's tools and offerings is back up after the team reorganization and the server replacements that came with that.
Here, you can find links to all of our witness contributions, of which, the most useful to the typical user will probably be the Dead Followers and Dead Following tools.
Here's some screen shots. I had a nice post here, and I'm still trying to retrieve it from the chain to replace this AGAIN, but for now, here's some of it I have still on hand locally.
So get rid of people whom you follow that aren't even here anymore.
Find out who follows you who has long been gone from here. It will shock and sadden you probably.
And find out how much lambo you can currently afford on your steem wallet totals. Also probably sad for most of us.

i have to remove 77 and i am i a steemitmamas group and they say the same.
is there a easier and quicker way?

Unfortunately not a "graceful" way. The available blockchain API system requires one bullet, one kill. I could take checkboxes and loop over them but you still have to accept steem connect for each one. Which means I'd build hours of programming to get the loop to work, you'd still have to select each one with a box (click #1, same as clicking button now), then simply move the act of steem connecting one by one, to after you select them. Same number of clicks for you, tons more coding to make it do it, for me, and end game? no saved time.
For what it's worth, my first pass on my own account, I removed close to 700 manually, so 77 is a cakewalk :D

Cool resource you have here @sircork and all of the @noblewitness team! We need to chat soon to be honest. My project is about ready for testers so we can get the content of the Steemian retrieved over IPFS faster and keep it more persistent.

To be fair I made the newb mistake at the start of following everyone I came across in they hope they would upvote my post (It's laughable now but I imagine it happens alot)
Also with the slump in Steem value I think many have become inactive while they wait for the value to climb - so if we see Steem up a few dollars in value they may yet pop up again.

Omg, last winter when I first made this, I spent HOURS undoing the mistakes of my "youth" - click, unfollow - click, and my first version didn't even have the steem connect, it was ALL manual between the results and steemit interfaces.

Wow, I always wanted to check something like this. How many real followers do I have, from my total of 3562 it is 1215. That's why I never believe that the number of followers you have is your achievement. Some moths back I was doing a clean up of my list manually I could only reach till alphabet D and then it got a little taxing so left it, this is damn cool
