STEEM: Society Balancing Civilization
When civilization was beginning...
Tools like language and agriculture didn’t just fall from the sky, neatly packaged and ready to use. Primitive people living in an unimaginably harsh and cruel environment imagined them into existence. In order to do that we had to tell stories and those stories have built our world.
Our imagination runs wild...
But over time our stories have evolved from tools that empower us into tools of oppression. Our institutions have stopped working for us and are now a threat to our survival. They consume endlessly and ceaselessly demand more.
Rise of blockchain
STEEM is currently showing the world we have imagined and built new tools. Tools that can manifest within the collective imagination and build structure.
Ascension
The #SteemHostileTakeOver incident is evidence of humanity’s ascension toward challenging, and eventually reasserting dominion over the giants we’ve created.
