Cheap STEEM But Not For Long

in #steem7 years ago

I know by listening to some folk who have invested in STEEM that they were waiting for the price to go down to around $1.40, maybe they are all seeing the rapid progression and are all jumping in just now a little earlier than they expected.

I look forward to see how things pan out in the month of July.

I think the time for cheap STEEM will be gone soon so if you have any spare money, the only way is up for STEEM from here in my opinion. In saying that this is the world of Crypto trading and it can be so unpredictable!

I just wish Poloniex or whoever is involved in STEEM would get a move on it because I have tokens in STEEM that I wanna power up with!

I think you are right, it won't be cheap for long!

Everything that I earn at the moment is going into my SP because I know I'll be in this for the long haul.
In a way I hope the price stays like this for a couple of weeks so that I can get more!

That's the stuff!

Steem has a great potential from the very beginning and every investor in his right should acquire a significant amount of Steem in his portfolio. It's really a great investment and in the near future it'll rise exponentially.

Poloniex actually has steem wallet blocked.
Btw, if btc keep going down, maybe we could see STEEM even lower in the near future..

btc should always be the biggest hold in my opinion. Its the mother of all cryptos

i agree for the long term, but not about short term :)

Yeah but it's still unclear as they are saying STEEM is currently under maintenance or experiencing wallet/network issues. Deposits and withdrawals will remain disabled until a solution is found, which may require an update from the STEEM team. Any updates must be tested and audited before enabling. which indicates that it may be on the other side.

That's true if BTC does go lower but I think it will be for the short term as the money flows into alt coins. Difficult to say though.

Steem should have done a soft fork and polo should update. But not really 100% sure, don't remember where i read it.

I don't mind hard forks too much especially early on, it would be a real, proper pain in the ass when STEEM goes mooning around, that it changed, because then we might see big swings in volatility with regards to price.
I'll be hodling for some time yet anyways but it's still a pain in the ass. What can you do though? Just need to sit tight.

Me too... poloniex is infuriating! I have a load of STEEM which I want to withdraw. Don't know if I should throw in the towel, sell it, and re-buy on bittrex. Argggggggh! :)

Please can someone fix this! Anyone?! ;)

Poloniex seems to be in no hurry to fix this.

Annnnnnnnnd it seems fixed (apparently - still to test) :)
Whoohoo, anyway, I can hopefully finally rescue my trapped steem!

Don't throw in the towel. It will go back up and I don't see this issue that they are having lasting too long because they will have many unhappy customers, give them time I say. The future is bright, the future is Steemit!

I agree (otherwise I wouldn't be trying to buy a little more STEEM :) ) Cheers!
