I have been absent from the crypto space for a while. I didn't abandon my investments, but I lost interest with the bear market. I am not a purist 100% crypo enthusiast like some people on here. I am diversified in my investments. The stock market has consumed much of my time, especially the rise of pot stocks!

However, the price of Steem right now at $0.29 is too hard to pass up. I am almost an "OG" of Steemit so I have seen the ebbs and flows of the space pretty much since the beginning. Whenever society tells us that cryptos are dead it is usually the same time cryptos take off in value. I feel that is happening now and the time is coming for another bull run. As long as the steem price stay low like this I am going to be buying a little bit at a time and powering up. I powered up all the liquid steem I have right now and hope to get back into content creating shortly. If you are an investor type like me I would also suggest hedging your investment with Bitcoin. All crypto tends to track the Bitcoin price, but Bitcoin in my opinion is the safest play in the space.

What are your thoughts on the current crypto market? Do you feel the bear market is coming to an end and we are in for a bull run? Am I crazy to still believe in Steem/Steemit with the uncertainty going on with the developers? Let me know your thoughts.
