Will converting my Steem Dollars to Steem increase my voting power?
I have about $19.00 in Steem Dollars, should I convert my Steem Dollars to Steem?, my voting power is down to about zero and I want to increase it, this will increase my voting power correct?, I cannot continue to reward quality content with one cent, thanks!
Toy convert it to Steem and then you right click on it and tell it to POWER UP and it will convert to steem power. Steem power is what controls your voting power.

I also find it a good idea to use 100% Power Up option on some of my new posts.
Also try and enter some contests and maybe win some SBD to buy more Steempower, there are plenty of them on steem.

Keep in mind you have to buy steem at whatever the market value is at the time. You might be able to get 16 steem by converting those steem dollars so the process might give you 16 or so more steem power.
The best way is to either buy quite a bit, or just work on writing. You'll gradually get more and more. You can tell a post to only pay you in 100% steem power, and it defaults to 50% steem power, 50% steem dollars.
So just by posting you'll get more steem power over time.

I see I have made a mistake with the 50/50, 100% from hereon.

depends on the situation.
You can also go to Steem Power tab, click on it, select Buy and it would take your directly to blocktrades where you an exchange your steem dollars directly into Steem power... If you voting power is below 50% you may want to give it some time to replenish it, I know its kind of hard but that's how it goes.... you can also used changelly that give a better rate from Steem dollars into steem which you can then power up... if you want to make a huge difference in the amount of reward you give someone then you probably need to invest much more than 19 Steem dollars.... I have roughly 128 and currently I am rewarding folks for 1 cent per upvote so I know how depressing that is
