You have made very good point. I am sure SMTs will be real game changer for steem. We already see so many dApps that are engaging many people who are not bloogers.

After SMTs steem will no longer be a blockchain only for bloggers.

But its blogging nature would enable the community to keep doing debate and improve with the outcomes from those debates.

This feature is not available in any other blockchain. So steem is unique.
