There appears to be a lot going on around Steem and so it seems like a perfect time for Steem News to come back to record it all.

2. Feedback on Steemit Contest

@steemingcurators are running an interesting contest asking the community to give feedback on Steemit - what improvements are needed, what new features would be useful, how communities could be improved.

There are votes worth up to $50 and 100 liquid STEEM in the prize pool.

The closing date is Sunday 14 March.

3. Play Steem Mobile App

@etainclub has released a demo video of a new mobile app for Steem called Play Steem.

The Android version is due out in March, and the iOS version in April.

Developer @neerajkr03 has added more countries to his Steemit New User Tracking system.

5. Cartography of Latin American Steem Users

Argentina Country Representative @belenguerra has produced a nice map representation of Steem users across South and Central America.

Venezuela is well out in front with over 750 users.

6. Two more proposals approved on @nutbox.dao

Two more projects have received approval after voting on the @nutbox.dao.

@armonio's proposal received was upvoted by 47 community members, and @terry3t received 16 upvotes. Both received sufficient votes to pass the threshold for approval.
