Thanks for doing these daily news posts. It's a great way to get a summary of all the cool new things happening on the Steem blockchain. There are a lot of things I might have missed if I did not find them here!
Glad I can provide a useful service.

Lack of regulation is one huge benefit of the crypto world, but I think it could also be a massive drawback as well. For example, some regulations in the financial world are actually there for a good reason. Not most of them nowadays, mind you, but some. I think certain regulations about how hedge funds can form and how they can accept funds and how they can invest them makes sense. After all, ponzi schemes and various other fraudulent or dishonest things happen all the time, and not just in the legacy financial world, but in this new digital wild west as well. In my wanderings on the Steem blockchain, I've seen and encountered several glaring examples of fraud and scams, some growing now to involve millions of STEEM. I think that at some point, all the digital clues left behind will be sifted and sorted by an AI working for law enforcement, and financial regulators, and everything will be revealed - everything down to the smallest detail. Nothing we're doing here will remain private or secret forever (if it's even private or secret now). All these investment groups and curation trails and vote dealers and amateur hedge funds are going to face scrutiny of the harshest kind, and there will be no innocent please accepted. Kind of scary how many people are incriminating themselves here right now, thinking their actions will get swept under the rug of time. How naive!
As Steem (and crypt generally) grows I am sure there will be more scrutiny and calls for more openness.
That might be difficult for early old schoolers here.
It will be interesting to see how the demand for greater transparency plays out.
buy buy buy
Yes please do.
lets buy together, it’s safer that way
Nice update and stats! Im curious, are there really 229 thousand unique visitors a day? That surely cant be right can it!?
Good point, especially with only 11 000 or so minnows and higher, incl whales. even if there were 100 000 below minnows, redfish new accounts, it sounds questionable that another 100 000 non account holders come to read our posts. But then again maybe they do.
I have wondered about that too Alex. Without having access to site analytics it is difficult to know for sure but I believe the large bulk are non-steemians who just come in through search engines.
It would be great to have more information on this. I guess Steemit Inc will be analysing all the data for their advertising sales now.
Ooh, organic none member traffic! There’s a thought, well steemit does Rank well on google.. id never have guessed it would be so high! Those steem ads should be paying dividends then! X
With so much going on, I now look forward to this daily steem update. Thanks.
It is definitely building momentum...
They are going to personify me but I do not see the need to do all this, that change to give value to negative votes, does not make sense, it only makes proliferate robot accounts that vote negatively to all publications.
The path that steemit is taking is not good, proof of this is its low value.
It will be interesting to see how the HF21 changes play out over the coming weeks.
Wonderful compendium of "all the news that's fit to print." Thank you for the time you spend putting all this stuff together, @pennsif. It's really nice to scroll through a post like this; it's kind of like shopping. So many great choices! I'm glad HF21 is here at last. Listening to speculation and complaints gets really old really fast.
Thank you for your support @jayna. I hope people find this service useful to keep up to date with how Steem is progressing.
Go ahead now my friends ..
