1. Communities of the Month
The deadline to apply for the November Communities of the Month program is coming up fast.
Applications close at 11.59pm UTC on Monday, October 25th.

2. Club5050
Just over a week ago Steemit launched a new program to encourage people to power up more of their earnings and invest in the platform.
Club5050 is offering to give extra rewards to people who make a commitment to power up at least 50% of the liquid rewards they earn.
To take part in Club5050, anytime you cash out or transfer away any STEEM or SBD, you must power up an equal (or greater amount) at the same time. Just add the tag #club5050 to your posts to show you are taking part in the program.
Club5050 looks like it will be a key part of Steemit's strategy to grow the Steem economy as they have made it the key element of November's Communities of the Month Support Program...
3. SPUD4STEEM is coming soon
The next Steem Power Up event organised by @kiwiscanfly is now only eight days away.

4. Powered Up STEEM continues to grow

@papi.mati has expanded on his community listings to produce rankings for communities in a number of categories including Most Active Users, Fastest Growth, Biggest Earnings, and Percentage of Active Users.
The final category is 'Golden User' inviting the community to vote for the 'most respected user'...
