Positive Thinking vs Faith...
Dear friends, the difference between positive thinking and faith is in its reference. While positive thinking can motivate you to strive to become and to possess; faith reveals who you already are and what you already have in Christ because of God’s doing.

Faith in God doesn't mean that God will give you whatever you want. If you're truly a Christian you should expect your life to be filled with problems because that's how you grow as a Christian.
Positive thinking is just childish pretending that does nothing. Having "faith" that God will do what you want is really the same thing.
Faith acknowledge all the benefits found in the person and finished work of Christ as yours. Heb 11:1
I think a lot of readers would have unconsciously missed out the word
because of God's doing ...
Often many of us jump into the conclusion that faith moves mountains, which is so true, and also the famous "nothing is impossible to God" which is also true is based on our side; but many have forgotten it is not our will but HIS will be done.
That faith we have, when we face the mountains in front of us, to be removed is that when God removes it, it is done in HIS will.
We are so used to the "instant" things in life we have overlooked that Christianity is a journey coming home, back to our original selves, and on the way, there will be pruning, improving, perseverance, and courage, all founded from the basis of faith in Christ. Just that some are faster, some takes longer to realise that.
When we have that, challenges and trials that look impossible or hard for outsiders, they will look light and stress free because we are Yolked with Christ and we know it is no longer all about us anymore.
Great simple insight @pastorlea . As you have said, sometimes we just need to read something and commune with the Holy Spirit and just show us / clarify / confirm our understanding of the heart of our Beloved FATHER.
