@ned and company said from the start: We are going to work on Steem(not Steemit), it's scalability, usability, cost efficiency, easy usernames, security etc.
Community gathered around it's main use case app Steemit that showed what Steem is capable of. They wanted community members to create other things to use on Steem besides only one blogging platform. Steem can do much much more, and that is showing every day more and more. Few years from now there will be so many apps and games that you wouldn't know what hit you if you've been gone for a while.
This is where Steem tokenization with free 3s transactions is leading us to.
It is time to forget what Steem used to be and adapt to new paradigm, sure everyone can still blog and dip in many places at once, but you got to realize Steem is a community based cryptocurrency where a whole host of applications can be built and they can thrive with their communities if they're good enough.
Is Steem a good buy right now? Absolutely 100% yes, Steem is probably the most undervalued crypto on the crypto markets right now.
I agree. It's time to forget what Steem used to be... as in, forget that it used to be worth more than 1$

It used to be worth a lot more, many times. We always returned to previous highs when we hanged around the bottom a lot. I see no reason why it shouldn't happen again. I said it once Steem is a shapeshifting crypto, it can be many things, one's imagination could be one's limit when using Steem.
There are a lot of reasons why we are at 0.4 instead of 2-3$, main ones being the lack of marketing and long lasting bear market. Things are turning around we just need to be patient. It is how it goes with crypto.
