The STEEM Story Was Already Written!
The STEEM story was already written.
What do I mean by that?
The whole cryptomarket is a deep, deep cold winter or a dry desert.
Also here we just have a typical and normal life cycle. But the end of the story is already written we just don't know it yet.
Its a fact that most of the time we only see, or focus on a specific part of a success story. Think about it for a moment. Think about a celebrity you like or an athlete. Maybe you have some examples near you, your wife, your friends or other acquaintances.
When we see successful people or a successful group of people, we find this fantastic, on the other hand, we often find quick reasons for their success.
Meaning if I would have been in that situation than I would have also been successful.
People don't see what it has cost for some people to be where they are. Same goes for some companies.
People often overlook the challenges people faced, their anxieties, their doubts, the pressure of other people. But they decided to stick to something, not to give up, not to lose hope. This is something I see here. People are holding on to STEEM.
When this ship sets sails, I am not saying that it will but I hope so. People will come back watching you and saying maybe something similar: If I would have been here when the price was so low ma account would be more significant.
What they don't see is that you never knew that this would indeed turn out well. You believed in it, and you also had maybe objective reasons to believe, but you never knew. They don't see the uncertainty that came with it.
But exactly these moments makes a great story.
Remember again some people you find successful. Several people come directly into my mind when I think about success. They also faced challenges they doubted. People told them to give up to look up for something different.
"Save yourself as long as it is possible!"
This story already exists so often. It's not a new situation we see here.
What you are facing right now other people already experienced in their own context.
But let me tell you this: If you are able to hold on and the ships set sails STEEM will not only be a victory for you. It will be much more. A part of yourself.
This counts of course also for other areas of your life ;)
It is indeed a human flaw to overlook the origins of success. People also assume that they would have done just as well if not better when looking in hindsight. I was here for 7 cent Steem and didn't know it was an opportunity. Many here who did realise didn't actually buy in either, even if they could have.
Those that did buy in however might not have put much in but they did expose themselves to risk. This is not far different from an athlete who goes all in on becoming a professional with little or no backup options. People look at those who fail and say "what a fool" but those who succeed, they admire and wish they could have a piece of that success.
There is risk in every position, including standing still.

Man. I cannot tell you how much I resonate with this message. Heck, I did a vlog on the same a while ago that I'm yet to share. I am just amazed and pleased and overwhelmed to know we and many other still holding on strong are vibrating on the same frequency. Nothing hurts like regrets when you know you could have done better. Like you said, it's really all about faith and I have plenty of it on this platform. Thank you for this dose of affirmation Pastor.. Keep them Coming :)))

Very well Said - I think people need to read something like this during this hard times. Psychology is weird. One year ago we would have been extatic if it was possible to buy Steem so cheap, no everyone is filled with uncertainty, but still the fundamentals haven’t changed. I’m holding on to my steem
we re in middle of HODL and RUN...
so im still in that option, to say i didnt loose a thingy... i won already... I met a lot of amazing People around this globe in this STEEMIT THING... so im still a winner...
But what can we do???
We can stay and do same shit as everyday... So i decided to write every day min one Story do my daily stream, and started a nice Streamer Curation Community which grows everyday a little bit.. We need to get more active to grow with the momentum... And i see light at the end of the tunnel and not the completly darkness as a lot do... and you will see a lot of went off in these times of Steemit and they will turn in again when prize rise .... But in my 2 cents they will loose a lot... so lets start to stick together and do it like Peguins do... Warm up in group to dont freeze... We re all have powers and when we stick together we dont starve in this time...
You are indeed a great example of someone seeing value in the little things and also having joy with that. :)

STOPHaha, so true. I have often wished to been here on Steem when it was still 10 cents in early 2017. But here we are with about 30 cents and I am celebrating every moment of it. :)
