Hi my name is Christopher Robinson and I have a degree primarily in visual arts and communications as well as I am very experienced in law enforcement, print media/television broadcasting.
My main reason for starting this campaign is rather quite simple I do not believe that most of the current media is honest enough and nor do they work within the best interest of the people and to be fair when I contemplate it I am not sure if they ever truly did and so my goal is to hopefully be able to change that if not for the masses at least for a size-able portion of people.
With your help I am very confident that we will be able to achieve a great deal many things such as the hiring of quality staff, journalist, researchers etc.. all whom will never ask pedestrian questions such as "So what did you think when you won the fruit basket" far too many network all pretty already ask those questions that never really leads anywhere no we'll be demanding the real information and we won't settle for the typical deflections that so many public figures tend to like to dance around.
The funds will be used for the purchases of (3) broadcast vehicles, cameras, computers, hard drives, servers, miscellaneous software(s), office space, journalist, researchers, bookings and hiring director, editors and designers, webmasters, web development team, general staff, office supplies, go on fact finding missions, and keep us afloat for the first 8-14 months etc.......
Currently in talks with what we're hoping will be our first set of reporters once we're able to secure the funds within 30-45 days, and they're all extremely excited about this venture and ready to start reporting on the things that truly matters such as community uplifting, corruption. hard hitting documentaries etc.. and not the trivial stuff like "Did you see what so and so was wearing the other day/Great party last night"
We also want to have seating for at least 30-60 people during our live-in studio segments
We'll also be collaborating with other credible independent media companies that have a very solid track record but unfortunately because of a lack of resources they're not able to do most of the stuff outlined at the top of the page we're going to be able to accomplish with gratitude and the humblest of thank you's to your generous help and support
Another one of our goals will be to combat the 24 hours rinse and repeat mainstream news cycle that has been going on for what seems like an eternity hence why we're only going to be heavily promoting movies, films and music etc.... that have substance to it.
