Brisbane Airport (BNE) has recently revealed its plans to be a cryptocurrency friendly airport. In conjunction with TravelbyBit, BNE looks to be the world’s first airport to accept these virtual currencies.

Brisbane Airport has set a global pace in blockchain revolutionary trend and innovative Cryptographic applications in a huge sector.

The partnership with TravelbyBit will allow passengers flying in and out of the Queensland capital to use Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash, LiteCoin and Steem in the airport’s stores, kiosks, bars, and restaurants.

Caleb Yeoh, CEO of TravelbyBit says,

“We are building a genuine use case for cryptocurrencies in the tourism industry. The application of digital currencies in this sector makes a lot of sense. Here at TravelbyBit we are promoting the Bitcoin travel movement. It’s simple, safe, and there are no bank fees.”
