I don't think Jerry is a bad person, but things like these really leave a bad taste in my mouth. I felt like he was trying to sell me a timeshare and its not at all the projection outward Steem needs.
It's obvious this post was not intended for us, I mean... I think it's obvious. But I have enough imagination to picture how I would perceive Steem with a video of this nature, its like I'm watching a Bitconnect promo all over again.
These kind of actions have become... Do first, apologize later.... same as the steemfest 2.5 , same as the account creation... I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, I really do... but I think this was the last straw for me.. I took my vote back today.
I agree we aren't the target audience for his post but we shouldn't be fooling people into thinking he has more worth on this site than he does. Or that you can make $2000 on a 6,000 word post.
It just isn't a good look for Steemit.
Personally, I had better things to do with my time than write this blog post. But we need to call 'Bull Shit' when we see it.
