Why is Steem in Beta
I tried to find the answer. Does anyone know why steem is still "beta" and when it will end?

Probably because it still has so many glitches and lacks most features that other social media platforms have.
I think it's because relatively new. Steemit launched about a year ago. First time I heard about the network was 6 months ago and decided to create an account here just recently. I've read the story about the creators of Steemit and my guess is that the project is still under development.
Plus: Long Beta > Crappy Alpha ( sometimes :p )
