RE: Steemit does NOT have the most Steem on Steemit! Wait... WHAT?
I don't know, but it seems to me that the big players are keeping everything 'in house', and it's a charade.
Activity (not content), drives the steem price higher...
We small fry get the crumbs to keep us here and working, while 'they' are set up to always take the cream.
If it was a meritocracy, it would still happen - as it should - but content quality would rise to the top, instead of 5 a word posts getting $50 all day everyday...)
I've had some pretty good crumbs in the past....maybe more in the future.
didn't get any crumbs anywhere else..
I'm not disagreeing with you...Same here, (when needed, last year).
I've never reacted well to people taking things off me.
(and the argument of reward pool is not valid. The reward we get from upvotes are ours...unless someone takes executes an action to change it...
That's taking off me , in my book.
Defending the action 'because it's the code', man is abdicating moral responsibility.
Ask the SS in ww2, they used a similar defense...
You make good points. I tend to agree with some of them.
so...what are you gonna do?
As for me...I'll take what I can get rather than take actions that would prevent me from getting anything.
THIS is the big question, my friend.....
I have choices to make...
I have no problem having the fight and having my account earnings screwed (although I think very possibly not) - the question is is whether I want to go into the arena or not.
I'm not 100% sure that I can be that bothered to be honest...
I want steemit to succeed but the lack of 'fire in peoples bellies' is quite depressing...( as in quantity of users - there are some but not many...)
I'm mulling things over....
This is one of my points....
Although the success of 'the fight' might take a long one- the rewards would be possibly be well worth it...
Power will never be given away - it has to be taken - SP is that power in steemit - and I've thought of a few long term strategies where that could be possible....
It would also require trust and integrity to change the power shift.
Would people trust me to give all the power away, once I had it?
I dunno, but I'm not optimistic...
The dynamic that's set up at present doesn't require trust (from the big players, its a mathematical certainty).
To break that 'certainty mathematical model', requires a leap of faith...
I have no desire for 'the power'.
I'd happily give it away, but most people are not that happy with their lot, and would then fight hold onto it, once they had it....
....And i ain't starting an election campaign! lol
Power will never be given away - it has to be taken
so you're gonna steal SP?
how's that worked out in the past?
lolol...no need to...
The LAST time the devs did something like what you are talking about.
HardFuck20 happened.
ah, but you don't know what I'm talking about.... (I bloody well hope not, anyway...lol)
