Stacking Silver?

I can tell you from personal experience that precious metals are a fantastic investment..... IF you have the patience to ride out their very long waves and trend patterns. it can take dozens of years to make big bucks, and you can't be in the game without an ass of steel to sit on.

Precious metals beat inflation!

With markets demanding higher wages, tax reform, and economic change and recovery over recent decades, and more so in recent years, the dollar has lost it's spending power. Package sizes are shrinking AND cost is rising. It takes more money to buy the same goods or services than it did this time last year, and so too will this be true for next year. so where do precious metals come in?

If you buy a 20 dollar piece of metal, and inflation makes things more expensive, so that piece of metal gets more expensive too, and when you sell it you get a higher dollar amount, and that is ON TOP of increases/declines in market demand. It is also something you can't spend at Tim Horton's, or buy clothes with, so its easier to keep around.

REAL swings take time...

you can see metals go wild sometimes on short wave trends. Gold jumps around hundreds of dollars, UP, and DOWN. If you're smart, cautious, and well timed, you can absolutely stand to gain from this. There is, though, a long term trend that exists but isn't so obvious. Things go up indefinitely. I'll explain, again, using gold as my example. gold fluctuates a lot, up and down, but its bottom and its top BOTH move up over a longer period of time, and this is true of all the metals. Gold was worth very little a hundred years ago, and it is worth a lot today, and it has had many small trends along the way.

Timing can be a real bother, and what can ya do if you miss the bus? Sometimes the markets don't smile on any investment, and you can suffer very long lows no matter what that investment is, including precious metals.

Economists tend to invest in precious metals, so they must be in the know about it right?
