And I have started building relationships here because I find it meaningful to exchange ideas with people in this community consisting of mostly early adopter -mentality, people are willing to experiment and try new things even if they may fail. This is a healthy state of mind that I would like to get inspired by every day.
The culture is open and welcoming.
Maybe a bit too ruthless against newcomers breaking the unwritten rules. ;)
People here care about the future and new ideas. And the high barriers to entry into this platform results in an above average level of discussion quality. It makes it worthwhile to start deep discussions here.
I think the ruthless is at the other end of the scale but I haven't been a newcomer for a while so it is hard for me to know :)
People want to be all inclusive and still drive quality. There is not a high chance of having both in this world. New platforms that arrive on Steem might section the types off a bit more though.
