Mining - Witness names

Are there any best practices out there in regards to witness names, espescially for those of us who have multiple computers from which to mine?

For example:

• Is it OK to use the same witness names among multiple computers?
• if so, is it OK to have them in the same order in each machines config file?
• If we elected to use our forum username/private key, will everything just mine directly to the wallet online.. vs in a local file on the mining machine?
