Question about value of sp and sd
I've noticed that even though I'm slowly slowly gaining both SP and SD, the dollar amount that approximates the value of my holdings has been dropping since the day I created my account. I know the value of steem compared to the dollar has been dropping, but I'm not holding steem,I'm holding steem power and steem dollars. So as the value of steem drops, does 1sp/sd equal less in dollars then it did a week ago?
I believe it has to do with the market demand for steem right now. Look at the lopsided chart. There's way more people selling than buying steem right now.

@wakeupnd, do you have an opinion about why there are more sellers than buyers right now?
It is simple: people who "won the lottery" - for example with an intro post - sold theirs for BTC/U$. Investors wouldn't buy because their hearts bled seeing the people cashed out instead of powering up. That is how the markets regulate themselves.
