SocialX in 500 words (Part 1/2)

In 500 Words is a series I am doing to improve post quality and make descriptions in smart, interesting, and absolutely unique ways. Simply put, if I can use 500 words in a post, I’ve met my goal. My post quality has been low and has honestly not reflected my community, so why don’t I change that to support the Steemit community? And yes, I’m counting this block of text as part of my word count. It’s writing, isn’t it?

Hello!

You may or may not seen my post SocialX, which is linked here (https://mspsteem.com/steem/@kilosworld/socialx). It is a platform with no censorship, a governance system, photo sharing, and other things that make it just a simple feed with upvoting and comments as compared to a blog style with articles like Steemit.

It seems like Appics, huh?

Well, SocialX is made from scratch. It is not a Steemit Media Token, it is much more flexible, and it lacks all of the cruel bandwidth issues that prevent plankton like me from using Steem up to twenty hours a day.

Honestly, have you never dealt with those issues? Everyone with less than 30 SP in their account goes through with this issue regularly. It’s just a normal part of our life on Steemit!

By contrast, you can post videos on SocialX and be perfectly fine! Just like Instagram and Twitter, bandwidth is never an issue. Transferring (will) be fluid and highly available to those on the platform compared to Steemit.

Also, their dates seem a lot more reasonable than Appics. Appics’ gameplan has their ICO starting very soon as of time of writing, their alpha coming sometime in the fall, and their release coming in 2019.

Can you wait that long to be able to use a platform that still may carry the negatives of the Steem blockchain?

So what does it look like?

The color scheme of SocialX containing their unique purple to blue gradient really shows there. The UX is entirely based off it, with no colors that seems out of place. You may notice a few glitches, and features that are missing.

The avatar photos are currently off and misshapen, the advertisements are out of date, and the system is lacking things like follow counts, explore/trending pages, along with all of the things that increase the growth of the people.

Will this get fixed?
