1500 years of our history: Enter the Katas Raj temples

Spreading its magnificence close Chakwal in Punjab territory of Pakistan, the most reverenced among every one of the sanctuaries are the Katas Raj Temples. In a paradise like encompassing, complex of sanctuaries remains in respect to the divinities of Hindu folklore.

As indicated by Alan Cunningham, the principal Director General of the Archeological Survey of India in 1872-73 CE, Katasraj is the second greatest sacred place in Punjab for Hindu pioneers after Jawala Mukhi. It is said noticeable Pandwas siblings lived 12 years in Katas and amassed the havens of Satghara.
