At the moment, you get about 75% of the reward in Steem Dollars (SBD) and the rest in Steem Power. Steem Power powers your votes so build that up. Its like leveling up in a game! You can go to the Market and trade your SBD for Steem and Power that UP. Or sell the SBD for Bitcoin using Blocktrades or an exchange like Bittrex. Then you can move the Bitcoin to CoinBase and sell it for money that goes right into your checking account. Good luck here!
