Agree, this is just a hurdle Steemit needs to get over to grow. It's common sense logic that this behaviour will destroy Steemit so hopefully, common sense will prevail and put an end to this nonsense. Quickly.
Other than flagging is there anything else that can be done to make people think twice about paying for a trending spot?
